SHAPING THE FUTURE

PROMOTING UPCOMING TALENT

L'IMAGE and JGH Professional Tools support an event that brings fathers and daughters together

Zurich, July 1, 2026 – Learning how to braid hair, create ponytails and spend quality time together: what may sound unusual at first has already become a successful concept around the world. Now, "Dad's Night Out – Braids & Beers" celebrated its Swiss premiere in Zurich, supported by L'IMAGE, manufacturer of professional training heads, and its Swiss distribution partner JGH Professional Tools

Hosted at Restaurant Bar Chiffon, fathers learned from experienced hairstylists how to create simple everyday hairstyles for their daughters. From classic braids and ponytails to practical styling techniques, the workshop focused on much more than hairdressing – it was about building confidence, creating memorable moments and strengthening the father-daughter bond.

As a leading manufacturer of professional training heads for the hairdressing industry, L'IMAGE supports education and advanced training for hairstylists around the world. During the workshop, participants practiced on professional L'IMAGE training heads before applying their newly learned techniques at home.

Together with its Swiss distribution partner JGH Professional Tools and Ghel Coiffure Zurich, L'IMAGE helped create an event that goes far beyond teaching hairstyling skills. Dad's Night Out demonstrates how easily fathers can learn practical new skills while creating meaningful connections with their children

Originally launched in the United Kingdom, the concept has inspired thousands of fathers worldwide. The successful Zurich premiere shows that modern family-focused events and active fatherhood are also attracting strong interest in Switzerland.

The response from participants was overwhelmingly positive. A second edition has already been confirmed for October in Zurich, with additional events across Switzerland currently being planned.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER
Robert Zimmermann is passionate about training hairdressers. His industry partners enable him to find special talents and train them to become the crème de la crème of the hairdressing industry. Applications have already been invited via social media. A talent challenge will bring out the "Young TALENTS by MR. ROBERTHAIR" team, supported by L'Oréal Professionnel Paris and L'IMAGE. I want to and will change that!" says Zimmermann.
IT'S GETTING SERIOUS
Zimmermann will present his spectacular training concept for the next generation of hairdressers together with his partners, the "Incredible FOURTEEN", on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at TOP HAIR in Düsseldorf.

With their creative hairstyles, they took 2nd place twice and the coveted first place once in various categories. COOPERATION BETWEEN FOM UNIVERSITY AND L'IMAGE

NEUSÄSS, MARCH 8, 2023 - L'IMAGE CEO ADINA ALT SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH FOM AUGSBURG, SETTING A NEW COURSE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

At L'IMAGE, training and development is a top priority. A core value of the company's philosophy includes a willingness to teach and learn, which underscores our passion for the work.

TRAINING OR STUDY? WHY NOT BOTH?

In addition to the previous classic training for commercial professions, dual studies are now also possible in the family business. L'IMAGE has been an official corporate partner of FOM Augsburg since March 2023. Martina Schedler, the management of FOM Augsburg, visited L'IMAGE at its Neusäß headquarters and signed the cooperation agreement together with CEO Adina Alt. "With this cooperation, we are enabling young people to pursue a wide range of career options," said Adina Alt.

Starting in the 2023/2024 training year, we will employ a dual student with integrated training at L'IMAGE. It will be a combination of commercial training for e-commerce and a degree in business administration/business psychology or marketing/digital media. The application phase is currently in full swing.

We also offer interested students the opportunity for pure dual studies in cooperation with FOM and L'IMAGE. The close cooperation is a logical further development. In the winter semester 2022/2023, two female students in the subject "Qualitative Research" have already written a term paper about and with L'IMAGE. There will also be student theses in the future..

OFFER FOR EMPLOYED PEOPLE OR THOSE WHO WANT TO BECOME ONE

FOM offers trainees and working people the opportunity to study without having to interrupt or give up their jobs. The range of courses on offer includes more than 40 practice-oriented degree programs from the university areas of Business & Management, Business & Psychology, Business & Law, Health & Social Services, IT Management and Engineering.

PRO EDUCATION - OR NO GO?

TRAINING AS AN OFFICE MANAGER AT A WHOLESALE COMPANY - WHAT CAN I EXPECT? WHAT CAN I LOOK FORWARD TO? OUR TRAINEES LIZ AND LUCIA TAKE YOU THROUGH THE TURBULENT EVERYDAY LIFE AT L'IMAGE.

Hello, my name is Liz and I am 24 years old. I've been a trainee as an office management assistant since September 2022 and I'm currently getting to know the sales department. Hej, and my name is Lucia and I am 23 years old. I've been here at L'IMAGE since September 2021 and I'm doing my apprenticeship as an office management assistant. I am already at the end of my training and can currently be found in the purchasing and accounting department.

EVERYDAY WORK - ALL JUST ROUTINE?

There is basically a set daily routine - first the day-to-day business, then everything else. For me, the day-to-day business mainly includes, in the 1st year of my apprenticeship, processing orders, creating order confirmations and creating customers. And what else belongs to it: creating and printing shipping labels, master data maintenance and also answering questions about the store, the maintenance of our training heads and of course, about the heads themselves. In the course of the three years, you get to know all the departments and have enough time to familiarize yourself with them, work in them and understand their symbiosis with each other.

After the day-to-day business, for example, you get to work on projects. Depending on what is pending or what needs to be optimized, projects and tasks come up, which are then distributed to those who are interested and responsible. Projects are not necessarily 'department-exclusive', i.e. there is also the chance to get involved in interesting topics and to get involved. We have the opportunity, and are encouraged, to dive particularly deep into the matter that we find the best possible solution for the company.

Ergo, there is a routine, but no monotony. And I appreciate that very much.

ATMOSPHERE IN THE OFFICE

The office and the colleagues invite you to stay. The flat hierarchy is lived here and thus gives a range of freedoms, which, however, do not distract from the sense of duty, but even strengthen it. The colleagues are, each in her own way, an enrichment for the work and everyday life. You are received and welcomed in a friendly manner, you get help and suggestions for solutions where you need them, and you just generally never feel let down.

GIRLS SUPPORT GIRLS!

Tasks that you don't feel ready for are not immediately forced on you, but you are slowly introduced to them. The high level of helpfulness among each other and the wide range of training courses and seminars give you time to familiarize yourself with them and build up your self-confidence.

In general, you are encouraged in your work and receive recognition and praise. Direct feedback is actually commonplace here.

If you are interested in learning new skills and knowledge, you can always contact our CEO Adina and discuss all possible ways to acquire these skills. Training is not treated as a scarce commodity.

PARTICIPATION IS NOT ONLY POSSIBLE, BUT DESIRED!

This topic is one of my personal favorites: One is heard and listened to. Opinions and ideas are more than welcome and are taken into account as far as possible and makes sense. Creativity is not nipped in the bud and the positive culture of making mistakes takes away the fear of learning by trial and error. The space to develop is given, as is the encouragement to use it. There is no such thing as looking stupid. One is expertly informed about situations, opinions, as well as views, and is sent into the learning process without feeling attacked.

ACTION Á LA L’IMAGE

L'IMAGE AS A SPONSOR OF YOUNG TALENT

NEUSÄSS, 19.10.2022 - L'IMAGE SPONSORED CHAMPION HEADS AT THE NEW TALENTS COMPETITIONS AS PART OF HAIRGAMES 2022, WITH L'IMAGE HEADS WINNING THE GOLD MEDAL TWICE

On October 15 and 16, 2022, the best in the industry came together in the battle for the highly coveted title of "hairGAMES Champion 2022" at the StyleCom - The HairFestival trade fair. This year, L'IMAGE was a proud supporter of the NEW TALENTS competitions. The Bavarian company exclusively sponsored champion heads for the participants and thus promoted the next generation of hairdressers. The challenge? The New Talents could prove themselves in the categories Girls and Boys Trendstyle as well as Longhair Up Do on the model or medium. In all categories, the fashionable idea, professional technique and implementation, but also the degree of change, the outfit and the coherent concept of the entire appearance were evaluated. The only winners were those who remained true to themselves and yet stood out from the rest.

THE PROUD WINNERS

L'IMAGE congratulates in particular Ibrahim Haje on his great performance. He achieved first place in two competitions at once with his exceptional hairstyles. The Thuringian proved his know-how in the hairGAMES New Talents Girls Trendstyle and in the hairGAMES New Talents Boys Trendstyle. This year's sponsor is particularly proud of the best apprentice from Gotha - he took the well-deserved victory with L'IMAGE heads. Extraordinary stylings on Pia and George convinced the jury. In the hairGAMES New Talents Girls Longhair Up-Do Carolin Willer won the silver medal. Isam Hamad was also allowed to stand on the podium as third place winner in this competition. Both were fitted with a Pia from L'IMAGE.
